Six years ago Linda - a pregnant, unfaithful wife - and her lover Carlo dispose of the body of her murdered husband. Years go by as Linda and Carlo raise her boy together until one stormy night a stranger seeks refuge at their home. Against Carlo's wishes, Linda takes in the stranger who mysteriously seems to know the place well and immediately establishes a relationship with the boy. Tension builds between Linda, Carlo and the stranger until finally the stranger reveals his supernatural past.
