Hector The Mighty is by far director Enzo G Castellari's strangest film. A retelling of Homer's epic poem "The Illiad," but set in 1970's swingin' Italy's bars and brothels, replacing Trojan warriors with pimps and Leather Men. A star studded cast includes Vittorio De Sica as Jove the half-witted priest, Giancarlo Giannini as the back stabbing Ulysses, Philippe Leroy as Hector the Mighty (Horny), Mike Forrest as Achilles and Rosanna Schiaffino as the slutty Helen. Fast paced, upbeat and full of wacky slapstick humor - Hector The Mighty is a great example of Castellari's softer side. Alternate titles for the film include ETTORE THE TRUNK and EL RAPTO DE ELENA LA DECENTE ITALIANA.
