A rich European woman, Sylvia, and her husband, Sadry, arrive in his home country of Tunisia to visit his ailing mother. This is Sylvia's first trip to Sadry's home where he struggled from poverty to become a successful architect. Along the way they meet a man named Edouard, who tells them of his ride to the hotel that he shared with a magician named Vestar. The magician told him that he had a vision of a woman being strangled while red circles were in the sky. Soon Sadry begins to ignore his wife to spend time with his mistress. As Edouard gets to know Sylvia, he puts a plan into motion to make Vestar's prophecy come true.
